Poker tournament's final three strike a deal before trophy showdown

The final three players in the poker tournament have struck a deal to redistribute the prize money. After negotiations, the remaining competitors shifted their focus to the trophy. The last hand saw a dramatic showdown between two of them. Resul Dauti entered the final hand with just 10,000 chips. He went all-in with ace-jack but faced Duke Saddleback’s stronger ace-king. The loss eliminated Dauti, leaving the other two to battle for the title.

Before the final showdown, the three players agreed to split part of the prize pool. Jody Fayant took $4,875 from the deal. Meanwhile, Duke Saddleback and Jeff Clarke each secured $4,275. With the money settled, the last two players now compete solely for the tournament trophy.

The deal changed the prize distribution but left the championship undecided. The winner will take the trophy, while the runner-up walks away with the previously agreed sums. The tournament’s climax now hinges on a single final match.
