Solingen/ The future of technology is in our hands! The Glass Workshop is organizing a day dedicated to this topic on June 8th. Dive into the world of artificial intelligence, the metaverse, augmented reality, and much more. Learn how these technologies influence our daily lives and how we can benefit from them.

Under the motto "Beam me up, Scotty", the Glass Workshop offers an exciting insight into the world of technology and wants to show that it is accessible to everyone, not just experts. The goal is to make advanced digitization understandable and tangible.

From interactive workshops to informative lectures, the Glass Workshop offers a diverse program for young and old. Here's an overview of some exhibitors and actors and their exciting contributions:

* Robin Reuschel - AI & Metaverse Strategist and Consultant, will present a talk titled "AI Prompt Engineering: Mastering daily challenges with AI tools and increasing efficiency in businesses" at 11:30 AM. He will discuss practical applications for businesses, business modeling with AI tools, advanced data analysis with ChatGPT, responsible AI corporate policies for employees, and the implementation of AI. * SOLICOM will present a talk on fiber optic expansion G5 at 12:00 PM. At various workstations, the supply chain will be demonstrated, from the fiber optic core area to smart city projects, WLAN hotspots, and the 5G campus network. The team consisting of Tobias Ziemann, Michael Ramke, Frank Reinertz, and Lars Rennert will also demonstrate the assistance system for sweeping machines and how to splice fiber optic cables on-site. * The Glass Workshop has also secured one of the most successful podcast coaches: Thorsten Runte will introduce interested parties to the topic of podcasting. In the podcast studio of the Glass Workshop, you can familiarize yourself with the technology under the guidance of a professional. The lectures will start at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 13:30 PM on the first floor. * Evgeniy Khavkin - Expert in AI & 3D technology, from the 3D Campus in the GrΓΌnder- und Technologie-Zentrum, will present application examples for 3D technology at 12:00 PM and 13:00 PM. * Excit3D will present 3D animated projects with AR (augmented reality) and VR glasses (virtual reality) at 12:30 PM. Here you will learn how these technologies are used for regional and nationwide projects. At the stand, there will also be the opportunity to enter a virtual room. * Stefan GrΓ€f and Sebastian Kirchhoff from solingen.digital will be available in the digital space for all questions about smart home and smart city and will demonstrate various application areas of smart technology in the home and in the public space. * Patrick Landmesser offers needs-based IT solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. * Specialized in IT and information security, he supports companies in optimizing their digital workflows and strengthening their cyber resilience. * At the Tech Day, he will be present as an expert in IT security to advise companies individually on how to make their IT infrastructure more secure. There will also be information materials, statistics, and interactive training sessions where visitors can test their knowledge in handling PCs, the internet, and emails. * Additionally, there will be a Tech Stammtisch with Solingen IT specialists Caro Marette and Piere Rinkewitz to discuss and understand tech terms together. Piere Rinkewitz will also give talks on "The dark side of AI/IT - Should I be afraid of AI?" * Jannis Setzer is self-employed in the field of videomarketing, where he is responsible for consulting, planning, production, and editing videos. In his sideline at solingen.digital, he is just starting with internal video, live, and podcast productions. * At the Tech Day, he will present the necessary equipment for creating video content and show how to operate effective marketing with the right concept. He will explain how to proceed successfully on the most important platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok.
