Jo Teliani wins high-stakes poker showdown in late-night deal

A one-day poker tournament took place on Saturday evening, drawing players for a $340 No Limit Hold'em event. The competition kicked off at 6 PM, with the winner crowned by the end of the night. Jo Teliani emerged victorious after a late-game deal with Adam Bishop.

The tournament began with players receiving 25,000 in chips for their $340 buy-in. Registration stayed open for nine levels, closing at around 8:30 PM. Each level lasted 20 minutes, though heads-up play switched to 10-minute blinds.

By the final stages, Adam Bishop held the larger stack. However, after negotiations, Jo Teliani secured the bigger payout and the trophy.

The event wrapped up with Teliani taking home the title and the top prize. Bishop, despite having more chips at the end, walked away with a smaller share. The one-day format ensured a fast-paced and decisive finish.
