Barett Dziok claims first poker title in dramatic Borgata Spring Open win

Barett Dziok has secured his first-ever poker tournament win at the 2026 Borgata Spring Poker Open. The victory came in the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off event, where he overcame a tough field and early setbacks. Before this result, his career earnings stood at under $8,000. Dziok’s run began with a strong comeback on Day 1, where he fought back from a short stack to bag chips. By Day 2, he had climbed to a top-3 stack with just six players remaining.

A major setback struck on Day 3 when his pocket jacks were beaten by Oskar Musialowski’s pocket sixes after a lucky river card. Despite the blow, Dziok quickly regained momentum. Four-handed, he rivered trip tens to eliminate Angel Lopez in 4th place for $57,150.

His final push saw him take out Zak Delaimy in 3rd for $86,150 and William Beer in 2nd for $126,250. The win earned him $185,850, a massive boost to his HendonMob earnings.

The Borgata Spring Poker Open continues with more events on the schedule. Players can still compete in the $500 Borgata Almighty Stack and the Spring Poker Open Championship. Dziok’s victory marks a turning point in his poker career. The $185,850 prize significantly increases his lifetime earnings. Meanwhile, the Borgata Spring Poker Open carries on with additional tournaments in the coming days.
