Dubai raffle participant wins Dh1 million after a decade of trying

A long-time participant in Dubai’s Big Ticket raffle has finally struck gold. Rithesh Lobo, a 49-year-old document controller, won Dh1 million in series 286 after years of trying. His persistence paid off, proving that patience can lead to big rewards. Lobo first started entering the Big Ticket draws back in 2013. Friends convinced him to join, and he has been a regular participant ever since. Despite many attempts, his win only came recently in series 286.

He credits part of his strategy to astrology apps, which he uses to pick his ticket numbers. Though he hasn’t decided how to spend the Dh1 million yet, he remains enthusiastic about the raffle. Lobo plans to keep entering future draws and encourages others to do the same.

The next Big Ticket draw in May will feature a Dh20 million grand prize. The live event for this top award is scheduled for June 3, offering another chance for participants to win big. Lobo’s victory shows how long-term participation can lead to success in the raffle. His win comes just before the upcoming Dh20 million draw, which will take place in early June. For now, he continues to take part, hoping for more luck in the future.
