Patrik Antonius Demands $100K Poker Rematch Against Jared Bleznick

A high-stakes poker rematch is on the cards after Patrik Antonius lost to Jared Bleznick in the opening round of High Stakes Duel 5. The Finnish pro has now challenged Bleznick to a second showdown, this time with $100,000 on the line for each player. The game will take place on November 19 at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT). The first match saw Bleznick secure victory over Antonius, thanks in part to his bold, aggressive approach. Unlike previous editions, High Stakes Duel 5 no longer requires back-to-back wins, allowing players to call for a rematch at escalating stakes.

The format alternates between No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha every ten hands. Buy-ins start at $50,000 per player and double with each new round. If Antonius loses again, he may request a third match, continuing until the loser declines. Should Bleznick win the rematch, he will join the ranks of past *High Stakes Duel* champions. The rules permit the loser to keep challenging, provided they accept the rising financial risk each time.

The rematch is scheduled for November 19, with both players committing $100,000. Antonius has the option to extend the series if he loses, while Bleznick could cement his place among the event’s top winners. The outcome will determine whether the stakes climb even higher in future rounds.
