Estonian poker stars dominate the 2026 OlyBet Showdown in Tallinn

The 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn has wrapped up at the Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn. The festival drew hundreds of players across multiple poker events, with Estonian competitors taking centre stage on the opening day. Estonian players secured early victories in the Superlive events, which were broadcast on Win TV. The two-day €250 No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) OlyBet Win TV Superlive attracted a strong field, building a prize pool of €34,067. Alger Pissarev emerged as the champion, pocketing €7,927 for his win.

In the one-day €555 NLH Superlive, Kert Hallik claimed the top prize of €8,720. The event gathered enough entries to create a prize pool of €25,650. The €200 NLH OlyBet WinTV Superlive Pairs Event saw Jussi-Pekka Saarinen and Teemu Leikas team up to take first place. Their victory earned them €1,971 each. Meanwhile, the €200 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO4/PLO5) event drew a smaller but competitive crowd, with a prize pool of €6,460. Uldis Lejnieks outlasted the field to win €2,310.

The festival highlighted strong performances from local players, particularly in the Superlive events. With multiple tournaments and substantial prize pools, the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn reinforced its reputation as a key stop for poker enthusiasts in the region.
