One-night poker showdown returns with $340 buy-in and fast action

A one-day poker tournament returns this Tuesday evening with a $340 buy-in. The NLH Deepstack Hyper event offers players 40,000 starting chips and a fast-paced structure. Registration closes at around 9:15 PM, just before play begins. The event follows a similar format to February’s series, which drew 71 entries. Back then, Josh Myers and Ryan Cairns agreed to split the prize money, with Myers ultimately taking the win. The total prize pool that month reached just over $20,000.

Blinds rise every 15 minutes, keeping the action quick. Unlike multi-day tournaments, this one guarantees a winner on the same night. Players pay $300 for entry, with an additional $40 fee, matching the previous series’ structure.

The tournament starts shortly after registration closes at 9:15 PM. With a $20,000-plus prize pool in February, this week’s event could attract strong competition. The deep starting stack and rapid blind increases ensure a fast, decisive game.
