Las Vegas Unveils High-Stakes Summer Poker With $4M Championship

Las Vegas has finalised its summer poker calendar, with major events spread across Aria, Orleans, and other casinos. The highlight includes the BetMGM Championship, a $4 million guaranteed tournament starting in early July. Players can also look forward to a mix of Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) and mystery bounty events with substantial prize pools. The Aria Poker Classic runs from May 27 to July 12, offering a packed schedule of tournaments. Among them is the BetMGM Championship, which kicks off on July 1 with a $3,500 buy-in and a second starting flight on July 2. This event carries a $4 million guarantee, making it one of the summer’s most lucrative competitions. In 2022, Nguyen Le took down the title, securing over $777,000 in prize money.

The series also features a range of other high-stakes events. The PLO Championship on July 5 boasts a $1 million guarantee, while the BetMGM PLO on June 13 offers a $250,000 prize pool. For those seeking mystery bounties, tournaments on June 14 and June 29-30 provide guarantees of $300,000 and $500,000 respectively. Satellites for these events will run throughout the festival, giving more players a chance to compete. Beyond the BetMGM series, the Aria Poker Classic includes mixed games and additional PLO tournaments. The full schedule ensures options for players of different preferences and bankrolls.

The summer poker season in Las Vegas is now set, with the Aria Poker Classic and BetMGM events leading the way. The $4 million guaranteed championship and other high-prize tournaments will draw competitive fields. Players can enter through satellites or buy in directly, with action running until mid-July.
