High-Stakes Poker Showdown Returns April 13 with Faster Blinds

A one-day poker tournament will kick off on April 13 at 6 PM. This marks the second time the event has taken place, following last summer’s successful run. Players will compete in a fast-paced game with rising stakes every 20 minutes. Event #10 is a $230 No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) tournament, featuring a $205 buy-in and a $25 entry fee. Each participant begins with a 25,000-chip stack. Late entries will be accepted for the first nine levels, with the final registration closing around 9:30 PM.

Last summer’s edition saw 140 players enter, creating a prize pool of $26,600. The tournament concluded with Darcy Hafso and Chad Hallett agreeing to split the top prize. This year’s event follows the same structure, running from start to finish in a single day. The blinds will escalate every 20 minutes, keeping the competition intense and fast-moving.

The tournament wraps up on the same evening it begins, ensuring a quick and decisive outcome. With late registration open until 9:30 PM, players have a flexible window to join. The winner will emerge by the end of the night, claiming the top share of the prize pool.
