Solingen's Casino Society elects Torsten Küster as new chairman after six decades of tradition
Solingen – The Casino Society of Solingen has a new chairman: Torsten Küster was unanimously elected by members and will immediately take over leadership of the historic association. Founded in 1840, the society now enters a new chapter under his guidance.
Küster succeeds Harald Hähnel, who led the Casino Society for six years. Hähnel will remain on the board, assuming the role of treasurer. The executive team is rounded out by Olaf Koppenhagen, Olaf Köpke, Frank Hornig, and Christian Feit.
Since its inception, the Casino Society has served as a hub for social exchange and cultural events, aiming to bring together people from diverse backgrounds while fostering dialogue and community life in Solingen.
With Torsten Küster at the helm, the society looks to the future with optimism. Alongside preserving long-standing traditions, it plans to introduce fresh initiatives to keep Solingen's social and cultural scene vibrant and dynamic.
