Discover Airlines: Frankfurt to Tulum Nonstop
Tulum's Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport opened just last December. Starting December 12, 2024, through the end of April 2025, Discover Airlines will operate twice-weekly nonstop flights from Frankfurt to Tulum, departing every Thursday and Sunday.
The period from December to April is considered the ideal travel window, coinciding with the dry season. After a roughly 12-hour flight, passengers arrive on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, famed for its well-preserved Mayan ruins and pristine turquoise-water beaches.
Discover Airlines: Tulum Becomes Second Mexican Destination
Until now, travelers from Europe could only reach Tulum via connecting flights through the U.S. or Mexico. The Frankfurt-based leisure airline is launching this route in response to growing demand from German and European travelers.
As part of the Lufthansa Group network, Discover Airlines will enable passengers from across Europe to fly to Tulum. The destination marks the carrier's second in Mexico, complementing its existing service of up to four weekly flights between Frankfurt and Cancún.
