WTTW Opens New Spain HQ, Connecting Denia to Global Human Rights Network

We Through The Wall (WTTW), an international NGO dedicated to promoting understanding and human rights, is set to open its new headquarters in Spain. The inauguration will take place in Denia on Friday, October 24 at 7pm, marking the organisation's expansion from its founding base in the Dominican Republic.

The event, titled 'Transforming Barriers', will link Denia to WTTW's global network of volunteers and social-impact initiatives across eight countries. Representatives from 12 different nationalities will attend, reflecting the organisation's international scope.

The inauguration will feature a diverse artistic programme. A documentary trailer presentation will showcase WTTW's projects, which span several continents and promote sustainability and human rights in complex contexts. Poetry readings and live music will also be part of the event, with catering provided to create a welcoming atmosphere.

WTTW believes in turning barriers into meeting points and exposing injustice to support human rights defenders. The organisation's vision is a globe where borders become spaces of understanding, dignity, justice, and compassion, replacing division.

The 'Transforming Barriers' event is open to the public but has limited capacity. It promises to be an inspiring evening that connects Denia to a global network of social-impact initiatives. With its new headquarters, WTTW continues its mission to promote understanding and human rights through art, education, and community engagement.
