WSOPC Returns to Lake Tahoe With a $1.7M Main Event at Caesar’s Republic
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is set to return to Lake Tahoe later this month, marking its first appearance at the newly renovated Caesar's Republic Lake Tahoe. The event promises 18 rings and a $1,700 Main Event, with the venue having undergone a $160 million transformation from its previous incarnation as Harvey's Lake Tahoe.
The Main Event will take place over three days, with flights scheduled for October 30, 31, and November 1. Additionally, a $300 Women's Event is set for November 1. This year's event continues a long-standing tradition in Tahoe, with the WSOPC having been held in the area since 2005, initially at Harrah's and later at Harvey's. Last year's Main Event attracted a strong field of 439 entries.
Kicking off the festivities earlier is the $400 Mini Main Event, starting on October 23 with three flights. Evan Sandberg made headlines at the last WSOPC Lake Tahoe stop, taking home the Main Event title and a $133,000 prize. This year's event is shaping up to be just as exciting, with poker enthusiasts eager to compete and potentially walk away with a life-changing sum.
The WSOPC returns to Lake Tahoe with a packed schedule, including the $1,700 Main Event and a $300 Women's Event. With a rich history in the area and a fresh new venue, this year's event promises an unforgettable experience for poker players and fans alike.
