WSOP Europe Debuts Historic Ladies Championship in Prague 2023
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has introduced a Ladies Championship to its spring schedule in Prague. This marks the first time a women's bracelet event will take place in Europe as part of the WSOP. The tournament is set to attract top female players from around the world. The Ladies Championship will be held on April 4, 2023, at the Hilton Prague. Players will compete for a custom bracelet adorned with extra gemstones, adding a unique touch to the prize. The buy-in for the event is set at €1,000.
Several high-profile names have already committed to the tournament. Among them are Mackenzie Dern, Shiina Okamoto, Vanessa Kade, Kitty Kuo, Xuan Liu, Cecile Ticherfatine, Kasey Lyn Mills, and Leo Margets. Their participation highlights the event's growing prestige. The WSOP Europe runs from March 31 to April 12, 2023. Alongside the Ladies Championship, the schedule features 15 other bracelet tournaments. The Main Event, with a €10,000,000 guarantee, will have three starting flights from April 3 to April 5. Additionally, the European Circuit Championship, a €1,350 buy-in event, is scheduled for August 8-9.
The Ladies Championship adds a historic event to the WSOP Europe lineup. With a dedicated prize bracelet and strong player interest, it aims to celebrate women's poker on a major stage. The tournament's outcome will be closely watched as part of the broader WSOP schedule in Prague.
