Westside Resort rebrands with a 2026 launch in Manila's Entertainment City

The former LET X integrated resort in Manila's Entertainment City has a new name and a fresh start. Now called Westside Resort, the $1.25 billion project is under new management after a news change in ownership last year. The rebranding comes as the resort sets its sights on a 2026 opening.

The resort's transformation began when Travellers International Hotel Group and Alliance Global Group took over most of the stake from Suntrust Resort Developers Inc in late 2023. Though Suntrust retains a 51 percent share through Hong Kong's LET Group, the new owners now hold around 80 percent economic interest. Travellers, which owns 60 percent of Westside Bayshore Holding Corporation (WBHC), will handle daily operations, including gaming, hospitality, and entertainment.

The newly formed Entertainment City Resorts Corporation (ECRC)—jointly owned by Alliance Global Group and WBHC—has taken over project management. With the name Westside Resort officially unveiled, the team has set a completion target for the third quarter of 2026. Earlier delays pushed back the original timeline, but the new leadership has expressed confidence in meeting the revised deadline.

Management has emphasised a commitment to high standards and a smooth opening. The resort, part of Manila's bustling Entertainment City, is expected to become a major player in the region's tourism and gaming sectors upon completion.

Westside Resort is now on track for a Q3 2026 launch under its new operators. Travellers International will manage the day-to-day functions, while ECRC oversees development. The project marks a significant shift in ownership and branding for one of Manila's most anticipated resorts.
