WerraEnergie’s Annual Wish Campaign Brings Smiles to Local Children
WerraEnergie GmbH has once again brought joy to kids' faces through its annual wish campaign. The company fulfilled dreams for youngsters at AWO Kinderhaus Schweina and Kindervilla Wernshausen, continuing a tradition now in its fifth year. Managing director Hans Ulrich Nager stressed the importance of giving back where support is most needed.
For half a decade, WerraEnergie has made its children's wish campaign a core part of its corporate values. This year, employees took extra care in selecting, wrapping, and delivering gifts based on the kids' personal wish lists. The surprise left the youngsters at both Kinderhaus Schweina and Kindervilla Wernshausen delighted.
AWO Kinderhaus Schweina received a €500 donation to fund joint activities and excursions in 2026. Meanwhile, Kindervilla Wernshausen was given a €500 voucher for the Oberhof Adventure Golf Climbing Park. Nager highlighted that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to taking responsibility and making a real difference in the community.
The campaign has now been running since 2021, with WerraEnergie ensuring special holiday moments for local children each year. The donations and vouchers will provide lasting benefits, supporting both play and adventure for the young recipients. The company’s long-term dedication to this cause remains a key part of its social engagement efforts.
