Vietnam gears up for high-stakes 10-Ball World Championship debut in Las Vegas

Việt Nam is set to compete in the 2026 Microsoft Teams 10-Ball World Championship in Las Vegas. The event, running from February 24 to March 1, will feature 32 national teams battling for a US$300,000 prize fund on a world map. The Vietnamese team includes Dương Quốc Hoàng, Bùi Xuân Vàng, and Phạm Phương Nam, who will represent the country in their opening match against the Netherlands on February 25. The tournament follows a best-of-sets format, mixing team rotations, same-sex doubles, mixed doubles, and a final singles match or shoot-out if needed. Vietnam's first test comes against the Dutch side, which fields Marco Teutscher, Elise Qiu, and Yannick Pongers. Germany enters as the defending champion, led by Joshua Filler, Moritz Neuhausen, and Pia Filler. Their goal is to retain the title in a field of 24 teams competing for the top prize at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. The championship brings together top talent from around the world, with Việt Nam's team looking to make an impact in their opening fixture against the Netherlands. The event runs until March 1, with teams vying for the 10-ball world title.
