The Pools has appointed Joseph Carter-Bell as its new Director of Customer Success and Operations. Carter-Bell brings with him over a decade of experience in customer service and safer gambling sectors, previously serving at LeoVegas Group and most recently at MrQ.
Carter-Bell's journey in the industry began at LeoVegas Group, where he spent two years, initially as Customer Service Manager and later as Head of Safer Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering. He then moved to MrQ as Head of Customer Experience before joining The Pools.
At The Pools, Carter-Bell aims to create a more cohesive player journey for customers. He will oversee customer service, customer success, and operational compliance, building on the brand's recent success. Carter-Bell expressed excitement about joining The Pools and enhancing the player journey. This appointment follows a series of recent hires, including Phillip Donegan as Chief Technology Officer, Chris Williams as Head of Product, and Matt Knowles as Head of CRM. The Pools also recently appointed Gemma Strath-Billington as Head of Group Marketing and has undergone a major rebranding campaign.
