An illegal poker game tournament was shut down in Emmenbrücke late on Sunday night. Swiss authorities raided the venue, uncovering unauthorised online games and seizing cash along with gaming equipment. The Swiss Federal Gaming Board (SFGB) and Lucerne police carried out the operation on the night of 14–15 December. Inside the premises, officers found 21 people taking part in an unlicensed online game. Two illegal gambling machines offering casino-style games were also discovered. The investigation into the Emmenbrücke raid remains ongoing. The confiscated funds and equipment will form part of the evidence in the case.
