Stefan crushes Victor in a 50,000-hand poker marathon for supremacy

A high-stakes poker duel between Stefan and Victor, known as Limitless, became one of the most intense battles in poker history. The two elite players clashed over the title of the world's best, pushing each other to the limit in a gruelling series of matches that stretched for months.

The rivalry began with an agreement to play 30,000 hands at NL10K, using a double cross-buy in bitcoins. Either player could walk away if they secured a $1,000,000 lead. Both were determined to dominate, with Stefan entering as a top regular in 3-max+ games, boasting the strongest recent results.

The first two sessions went decisively in Stefan's favour. His second victory alone netted him $90,000, putting Victor under early pressure. By the third round, Stefan nearly sealed the win, crushing Victor for four full stacks.

Victor refused to back down. On February 10, he proposed extending the challenge by another 20,000 hands and doubling the stakes. The tension grew as the match dragged on, with neither willing to concede. Their rivalry was fuelled by pride—both wanted to humiliate the other with a crushing defeat.

The final showdown ended on June 24 after 50,000 hands. Stefan emerged victorious with a commanding lead, cementing his dominance. Earlier, he had compared their 2020 PokerStars stats: his win rate stood at 10 EV bb/100, while Victor's lagged at minus 1.3 EV bb/100.

The marathon duel concluded with Stefan's decisive win, reinforcing his reputation as one of poker's top players. The match's scale and intensity set it apart as a landmark event in the game's history. No official record confirmed the poker room where the 50,000 hands were played.
