Solo Leveling Joins Union Arena as a New Card Game Booster Pack

Fans of Solo Leveling have something new to look forward to—just not a third season. While updates on the anime's continuation remain scarce, the series is now joining Bandai Namco's card games trading card game, Union Arena. A dedicated booster pack featuring characters from the show will launch next month, giving collectors fresh artwork and gameplay options.

The original web novel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has already wrapped up, but the franchise's presence in Union Arena keeps its popularity alive in a different format.

Union Arena first arrived in Japan in March 2023, with an English release following in late 2024. The game blends characters from over 20 anime franchises, including Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball, and Chainsaw Man. Each series gets its own booster pack, and Solo Leveling is the latest addition.

The Solo Leveling pack will include 80 collectible cards and 12 Action Point (AP) cards, with every pack containing 12 randomly selected cards. Key characters like Sung Jin-woo, Cha Hae-in, and his younger sister will appear in a glittering foil finish. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) have already praised the art style, calling the designs vibrant and true to the anime's aesthetic.

Pricing is set at $4.99 USD in the US and a similar amount in euros for Germany. The cards will be available in Japanese or English, though no German version is planned. The booster pack officially drops on March 20, 2026.

The game's unified ruleset allows for crossovers, meaning players can mix Solo Leveling cards with those from other series like Gundam or Evangelion. This flexibility has made Union Arena a hit among collectors who enjoy blending different anime worlds.

The Solo Leveling booster pack gives fans a new way to engage with the series, even as Solo Leveling season 2 remains distant. With 80 unique cards and crossover gameplay, the release adds to the growing list of anime franchises in Union Arena.

For now, the trading card game offers a fresh alternative for those waiting on further anime updates. The pack arrives in stores and online on March 20, 2026.
