Rainbow Six Siege has unveiled its Year 11 roadmap, bringing major changes and new content. A teaser in January hinted at Solid Snake's arrival, now confirmed for 3 March. The update also introduces faster releases, with fresh content every three weeks across four seasons.

The first season will modernise three classic maps: Coastline, Villa, and Oregon. Players can also expect a new 1v1 arcade mode, while the Dual Front event will come to an end.

Season 2 rolls out a casino map inspired by Rainbow Six: Vegas. Operator Dokkaebi will receive a remaster, including a new primary weapon. Ranked play will see an overhaul, and console players will finally gain keyboard and mouse support.

Solid Snake, the iconic protagonist from Metal Gear, joins as a playable operator on 3 March. His addition follows a January teaser that sparked speculation among fans. The character first appeared in 1987 on the MSX2 platform, marking the start of the Metal Gear series.

The Year 11 roadmap promises frequent updates, with new features and operators arriving every three weeks. Solid Snake's debut and map refreshes aim to keep the game evolving. Players can expect these changes to roll out steadily over the coming months.
