Sebastien Crema dominates Day 1 of $1,100 PLO Main Event

Sebastien Crema has taken a commanding lead in Event #13: $1,100 PLO Main, finishing Day 1 as the clear chip leader. With 2,180,000 in chips, he sits well ahead of the remaining 10 players. The tournament's prize pool now stands at $85,586, with the winner set to claim $24,275.

The final stages of Day 1 saw Crema build his dominance in dramatic fashion. Late in the evening, he boosted his stack to 725,000 after winning a pot from Garry Sandhu. His momentum continued in the second-last hand of the night, where his nut straight and top set defeated Sandhu's nut straight, pushing his total to over 2,000,000.

Only 11 players entered the money, each now guaranteed at least $1,895. The remaining field includes Ali Khani, Dagan Maxwell, Stefan Maloney, Garry Sandhu, Kyle Ho, Deven Lane, Tyler Noppibul, Rhonda Fiveland, John MacArthur, and Michael Bingham, all still in contention for the top prize. Crema's late surge secured his position at the top, leaving him with a substantial advantage as play resumes.

The tournament now moves into its decisive phase, with Crema holding a significant chip lead. The remaining players will return to compete for the $24,275 first-place prize. Each of the 11 survivors has already locked in a minimum payout of $1,895.
