SCOOP 2026 moves to March with unchanged prestige and prizes
The Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) will take place earlier than usual in 2026. Running from March 1 to 25, the main event returns to PokerStars with its familiar mix of tournaments and prize guarantees. Organisers have adjusted the timing to improve the yearly schedule without altering the series' core features.
PokerStars has shifted SCOOP's dates forward compared to previous years. The change aims to create a smoother flow between major events across the calendar. Despite the earlier start, the series will still offer over 100 tournaments in Low, Medium, and High buy-in tiers, covering multiple poker variants.
The adjustment does not affect prize pools, guarantees, or the event's overall structure. PokerStars has confirmed that SCOOP's prestige and variety remain unchanged. The full 2026 schedule and prize details will be released in early January.
This shift follows PokerStars' ongoing review of event timing as part of its annual planning. The company has stated that other series, such as the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), will not be impacted by SCOOP's new dates.
SCOOP 2026 will run from March 1 to 25 with the same range of tournaments and guarantees as before. Players can expect the schedule and prize information to be published in the new year. The earlier timing is part of PokerStars' efforts to refine its yearly event calendar.
