Scenic Mountain Retreat to Replace Abandoned School in Komsomolsky District

A new hotel complex, featuring ten guesthouses, a café, a banquet hall, and service facilities, is set to transform a former primary school site in Komsomolsky District. Located on the bank of a mountain river, just two kilometres from the village of Uktur, the project aims to boost local tourism. Regional authorities have highlighted infrastructure development as a major focus for the area.

The upcoming complex, named Beautiful Places, will offer modern accommodation in a scenic mountain setting. Guests will find children's playgrounds, pavilions, and relaxation areas with decorative architectural touches. Nearby attractions include the Gur River, Aksakinsky Pass, the local history museum, Shamanka rock outcrop, and an observation deck.

Construction is scheduled to finish in 2024, though the full project may take between two and four years to complete. The investor, still unnamed in official sources, is currently securing a lease for the forest fund land plot. Before work begins, they must finalise project documentation, arrange technical equipment, and ensure high service standards.

The regional Ministry of Tourism has emphasised the importance of improving infrastructure across municipal districts. This development aligns with broader efforts to attract visitors and support local economic growth.

Once completed, the hotel complex will offer modern accommodation in a scenic mountain setting. The project's success depends on meeting technical and service requirements in the coming years. Officials anticipate it will become a key destination for tourists exploring the region's natural and cultural sites.
