RunGood Poker Series Grand Prix Kicks Off in Tunica with $250K in Guarantees
The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Grand Prix is set to kick off in Tunica, Mississippi from Nov. 11 to 16. The event features 13 ring events with a total of $250,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
The series begins with a $250 Seniors Ring Event and a $250 Series Opener Ring Event on Nov. 11. A $250 DeepStack Ring Event with two starting flights and a $50,000 guarantee is scheduled for Nov. 12. Other notable events include a $250 Five Card PLO Ring Event, $250 Big Bet Bounty Ring Event, $300 Ladies Ring Event, and $300 Pot Limit Omaha Ring Event.
The highlight of the series is the $600 Main Event, which has three starting flights on Nov. 14 and plays down to a winner on Nov. 16. This event boasts a $200,000 guarantee and will be live reported by PokerNews. Last month's RGPS Main Event in Tunica drew 627 runners and a prize pool of $326,040, with Joshua Butler winning the title and $49,282 after a three-way chop. The series concludes with a $400 Black Chip Bounty Ring Event on Nov. 16.
Following the Tunica stop, the RunGood team will head to Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Iowa for a stop running Nov. 18-23. While it's impossible to predict who will win the Main Event of the upcoming RGPS Grand Prix Tunica 2025, poker enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting series with substantial prize pools and notable events.
