RGPS Passport kicks off with a $250K Main Event in Texas this January

The RGPS Passport season launches on January 27 in Round Rock, Texas, featuring six days of high-stakes poker action at The Lodge, the state's largest poker room. Seven ring events are scheduled, including a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event. Players aged 50 and over can join a dedicated $200 Seniors Ring Event with a $20,000 prize pool.

The tournament schedule begins with two $20,000 guaranteed events on January 27 - a $200 Seniors Ring Event for players over 50 and a $200 Ambassador Bounty Ring Event. On January 28, a $400 PokerNews Deepstack Ring Event guarantees at least $20,000, and a $400 Pot-Limit Omaha Ring Event is also offered. The highlight is the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event starting on January 29 with Flight A, followed by two more starting flights on January 30 and 31. PokerNews will provide live coverage of the Main Event from its first day, with Day 2 and the final table set for February 1.

The RGPS Passport season offers a variety of events, from seniors' tournaments to Pot-Limit Omaha, with multiple guaranteed prize pools. The Lodge in Round Rock remains a key destination for competitive poker in Texas.
