Reutlingen Chamber of Crafts Launches 'Lena and Jonas' Activity Book to Spark Enthusiasm

The Reutlingen Chamber of Crafts has launched an innovative activity book, 'The Craftsmanship Activity Book - Lena and Jonas on a discovery tour', illustrated by Melanie Freund. The book, aimed at fostering early enthusiasm for craftsmanship, was first gifted to children at the Castle Kindergarten in Pfullingen. It is available free of charge to kindergartens, schools, and other institutions in the chamber district.

The activity book, featuring two craft apprentices, Lena and Jonas, takes young readers on a journey through the chamber district, introducing them to various craft professions. With ten double-sided scenes and over 50 craft professions depicted in a colorful, modern, and cliché-free manner, the book encourages discovery and curiosity.

Handed over by the chamber's president Alexander Waelde, main business manager Christiane Nowottny, and Pfullingen's mayor Stefan Woerner, the book has received enthusiastic support. Mayor Woerner sees it as a means to inspire children for craftsmanship. Plans are underway to establish a new craft kindergarten in Pfullingen, providing practical experiences related to the activity book.

The Reutlingen Chamber of Crafts' activity book, a vibrant and engaging introduction to the world of craftsmanship, is set to inspire young minds. With its free distribution and supportive initiatives, it aims to spark enthusiasm for craft professions among children in the chamber district.
