Reinhard Faltejsek wins King of Cards poker tournament in dramatic finale

The King of Cards poker tournament at Casino Baden reached its climax on January 6, 2026. Reinhard Faltejsek took home the title after a dramatic final hand involving two all-in moves and a surprising fold.

The decisive moment came when Jiajie Sheng pushed all in for 1,300,000 chips. Holding 8♣ 4♣, they faced a tough spot as Mehmet Siginic also went all in with J♠ J♣. The remaining players quickly folded, leaving the two to battle for the pot.

The board ran out A♥ 6♥ 2♠ 7♥ A♠, failing to improve Sheng’s weak starting hand. Siginic’s pocket jacks held strong, securing him the pot and eliminating Sheng from contention. This set the stage for Faltejsek’s eventual victory in the tournament.

Faltejsek emerged as the winner after the final showdown. The tournament concluded with a mix of bold moves and strategic folds. The event marked another high-stakes victory at Casino Baden’s prestigious poker series.
