PokerStars New Year Series 2026 crowns three Main Event champions with $1.3M in prizes

The PokerStars New Year Series 2026 has wrapped up with three major Main Event winners. Players from across the globe competed for substantial prize pools, with top honours going to Gabriel Tavares, Patrick Lauber, and a Greek champion in the Mystery Bounty tournament.

The series saw intense competition, with notable finishes from both established pros and rising stars.

The $5,200 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event attracted 106 entrants, building a $530,000 prize pool. Gabriel 'gtavares10' Tavares emerged victorious, securing $122,130. Samuel '€urop€an' Vousden took third place, earning $71,991, while Ole 'wizowizo' Schemion finished sixth for $32,580.

In the $1,050 No-Limit Hold'em PKO Main Event, Patrick 'JaegsPL' Lauber claimed first place. His win came from a field of 659 players, generating a $659,000 prize pool. Lauber took home $113,307, while Qee...:)AA finished third in this event and fourth in the $5,200 tournament, collecting a combined $79,806. The $109 Mystery Bounty Main Event drew massive interest, with 10,041 entries. Greece’s 'nickiou7kos' won the title, pocketing $58,237 in total prize money. The event also featured a $100,000 jackpot bounty, claimed by Brazil’s 'wdias21'.

The PokerStars New Year Series 2026 has now concluded, with champions crowned in all three Main Events. The tournaments distributed over $1.3 million in prize money, with top finishers securing life-changing sums. The results highlight the series’ global appeal and competitive depth.
