PokerStars Hosts Charity Poker Tournament at EPT Malta for Ugandan Schools
A new charity poker tournament will take place during the EPT Malta festival on October 10. Organised by PokerStars, the event will raise funds for a school development project in Uganda. Part of the buy-in and rebuys will support the SiGMA Foundation’s work in underserved communities.
The tournament carries a €400 buy-in, with €100 from each entry directly allocated to the SiGMA Foundation. Players can also rebuy or top up their stacks, and 50% of those additional funds will go to the same cause. The initiative was launched by Eman Pulis, the founder of the foundation.
The charity tournament at EPT Malta will contribute to a school expansion in Uganda. The funds will improve educational access and support local employment. The SiGMA Foundation continues to grow its impact through targeted community projects.
