Poker’s ‘Super Nerd’ KevMath Heads to Taipei for Asian Poker Tour Championship

Kevin 'KevMath' Mathers, the 'unofficial' Super Nerd of poker, is set to join the Asian Poker Tour Championship in Taipei this November. Mathers, who has been the go-to person for WSOP answers since 2016, will provide information and guidance during the event.

Mathers, who can be followed on X for updates, will be in Taipei for the opening event of the Asian Poker Tour's Championship Series. He has a personal mission to add a Taipei flag to his Hendon Mob account. Despite not being able to communicate in Mandarin, Mathers plans to use Google Translate to interact with locals.

The Asian Poker Tour, the fastest growing poker tour in Asia, has successfully hosted events in South Korea and Jeju. Mathers, who serves as the official WSOP Social Media Czar and Poker Information Manager for the Global Poker Index, will bring his expertise to Taipei.

Mathers' presence in Taipei is expected to enhance the Asian Poker Tour Championship. His knowledge and dedication to the game will provide valuable insights for players. Despite the language barrier, Mathers is eager to engage with the local poker community in Asia.
