Podcast creators sue Audiochuck over $20M in missing ad revenue

The creators of the Anatomy of Murder podcast have filed a lawsuit against Audiochuck, the company behind their show. Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi and Scott Weinberger claim they were denied millions in ad revenue after Audiochuck restructured its deal with SiriusXM without their knowledge. Nicolazzi and Weinberger signed a contract with Audiochuck in 2021, the same year the company struck an exclusive ad-sales and distribution deal with SiriusXM worth up to $200 million. Their agreement entitled them to a share of the revenue generated by Anatomy of Murder, which they allege was 10% of the total—potentially $20 million. The lawsuit highlights tensions between Audiochuck and its podcast creators over revenue transparency. Nicolazzi and Weinberger’s contract runs until late 2025, but the outcome of the case could determine whether Anatomy of Murder continues beyond that date.
