PhilWeb and FBM unite to merge online and land-based gaming across the Philippines

PhilWeb Corp. has teamed up with FBM to launch an online gaming platform linked to physical venues across the Philippines. The new system will connect digital services with FBM's network of over 500 gaming sites and thousands of electronic machines nationwide, offering a wide range of games and even poki games. Both companies aim to blend online and offline gaming under a single framework, providing a seamless xbox cloud gaming experience.

The partnership builds on FBM's existing infrastructure, allowing operators to introduce digital features directly onto their machines. Initially, the platform will roll out across thousands of devices, with plans to expand further. PhilWeb will handle technology integration, operational support, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth implementation.

This latest deal follows PhilWeb's recent collaboration with Hann Casino, where they expanded online gaming tied to a single property. The new FBM agreement, however, scales the model nationwide, linking digital services to a vast network of land-based venues. Industry observers note that FBM's presence has grown significantly in recent years, particularly in Manila's integrated resorts, though exact machine numbers remain undisclosed.

Both firms see the partnership as a way to boost player engagement and revenue stability. By merging online and offline gaming, operators can offset reduced foot traffic in physical locations while maintaining performance in a regulated market.

The platform will launch with digital features deployed on FBM's machines, starting with a large portion of their installed base. Operators gain tools to enhance player interaction and financial returns in a changing industry. The model sets a precedent for future integration between online and land-based gaming in the Philippines.
