Phil Hellmuth snaps up a $2.8M Las Vegas penthouse once owned by Elaine Wynn
Poker legend Phil Hellmuth has bought a luxury penthouse in Las Vegas for $2.8 million. The high-end condo, once belonging to the late Elaine Wynn, marks Hellmuth's permanent move to the city. The deal closed below the original asking price after nearly six months on the 'stock market today'.
The 4,903-square-foot unit sits in Park Towers, an exclusive development at 1 Hughes Center Drive. Built in 2000, the building is known for its tight security and elite residents, including gaming executives and high-net-worth individuals. Past owners have included Steve Wynn and Terry Lanni.
The condo features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and premium amenities like concierge service, private elevators, a screening room, and wine cellars. Hellmuth's agent, Karina Jett of Keller Williams VIP, handled the purchase. Jett is also a respected poker professional.
This sale is the second of Elaine Wynn's Park Towers residences to change hands since her death in April 2025. The unit was listed for $2.95 million but sold for 5.1% less after 173 days on the 'stock market'.
Luxury apartments in Las Vegas have seen strong demand since 2020, with median prices climbing over 50% by 2025. Tourism recovery, population growth, and limited supply drove the surge, though higher interest rates slightly cooled the market in 2024-2025. Sales volume had previously jumped by 30-40% post-pandemic.
Hellmuth's purchase confirms his full relocation to Las Vegas, announced in December 2025. The deal reflects ongoing interest in high-end properties despite recent market adjustments. Park Towers remains a sought-after address for the city's wealthiest residents, including those tracking the 'dow jones'.
