Pavels Spirins has won a high-stakes poker showdown in a recent €1,100 Main Event. The game featured 22 players competing for a total prize pool of €125,400. His victory came after a dramatic all-in confrontation with Arturas Kesleris.
Spirins went all-in with a stack of 367,000, holding the Jack of Clubs and Jack of Spades. His opponent, Kesleris, called with the Eight of Diamonds and Eight of Clubs. The hand ended in Spirins' favour, doubling his chip count.
After the win, Spirins' stack grew to 764,000. Meanwhile, Kesleris saw his chips drop sharply to just 90,000.
The tournament's prize pool reached €125,400, with 22 entrants battling for the top spots. Spirins' victory boosts his position in the competition. Kesleris, now short-stacked, faces an uphill challenge in the remaining rounds.
