PartyPoker Tour Seville loses two ambassadors in €500 Main Event drama
The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville has seen two of its ambassadors exit the €500 Main Event in quick succession. Niall 'Firaldo' Farrell, the latest to bow out, had earlier advanced to Day 2 in the Mini Main Event as an official representative of the tour. With 79 players competing, the tournament now moves forward with a prize pool of €170,435 on the line. Barry Carter became the first ambassador to leave the tournament earlier today. His elimination set the stage for Farrell's departure, marking the second ambassador to hit the rail in the same event.
Farrell, known online as 'Firaldo,' had reached Level 13 with 2,000 of his 4,000 chips remaining before his exit. Despite his early progress, he could not sustain his run in the €500 Main Event. His participation in the Mini Main Event had previously showcased his skills, but the main tournament proved more challenging. The event continues with fewer players now in contention. The remaining competitors will vie for a share of the €170,435 prize pool, with the field narrowing as the stakes rise.
Both ambassadors have now left the competition, leaving the remaining 77 players to battle for the top spots. The tournament's prize money remains unchanged, with the next stages set to determine who will secure the largest payouts. Farrell's exit closes his run in this event, though his earlier performance in the Mini Main Event still stands as a highlight of the tour.
