A prize pool of €84,000 was created, with 98 players advancing to Day 2. Among them were PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors Peggy Crawford and Niall 'Firaldo' Farrell, both still in contention.
Day 3 saw Crawford emerge as the chip leader heading into the final day. Farrell also remains in the hunt for the title, with the field now narrowed to 14 players.
