Pakistani expat wins Dh50,000 in Dubai's Big Ticket draw after years of trying
A Pakistani expat in Dubai has won Dh50,000 in Big Ticket's latest weekly draw. Riasat Khan secured the prize in the second e-draw of February, sharing the win with nine colleagues. The group had pooled their money to buy tickets together for years.
The victory comes as Big Ticket ramps up promotions, including a Dh15 million grand prize draw on March 3rd and a new Dream Car Series featuring luxury vehicles.
Khan has been a loyal Big Ticket participant for a decade, buying entries monthly. His persistence paid off when his group's ticket was drawn on February 17th. The Dh50,000 prize will be divided equally among the ten coworkers.
Big Ticket's February promotions include two weekly e-draws, each offering Dh50,000. A grand prize of Dh15 million will be awarded on March 3rd. Customers buying two or more tickets before February 24th also enter The Big Win Contest, with guaranteed cash prizes between Dh50,000 and Dh150,000.
The Dream Car Series has already rewarded over 1,200 participant groups with high-end vehicles. Past winners received models like the Mercedes-Benz G63, Lamborghini Huracán STO, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and McLaren 720S. This March, a Range Rover Velar is up for grabs, followed by a Maserati Grecale in April. A Buy 2, Get 2 Free offer is currently available for the series.
Khan's advice to fellow players is simple: stay consistent and keep trying. His long-term approach highlights the potential rewards of regular participation.
The Dh50,000 win adds to Big Ticket's record of distributing over Dh220 million in prizes since 1992. With multiple draws, luxury cars, and cash incentives, the promotion continues to attract long-term participants. Khan's success serves as an example of how persistence can lead to significant rewards.
