Over 80 guests gathered at Grüter Hans AG on October 2, 2025, for 'Bundeshaus Aktuell', hosted by FDP parliamentarians Damian Müller and Peter Schilliger. The event, held at the family business in the heating and ventilation industry, fostered a direct exchange between cantonal and federal politics.

Müller, a Council of States member, addressed rising health insurance premiums, calling for long-term benefits for treatments to ease the burden on small and medium-sized enterprises. He also praised progress in energy policy, strengthening hydropower while protecting the environment, and called for a return to pragmatism in regulation to reduce bureaucracy.

Schilliger, a National Councillor, criticized the SVP's '10 million Switzerland initiative', stressing the need for skilled workers to maintain the labor market's stability and AVS financing. He emphasized the importance of a credible asylum policy, including swift procedures, consistent enforcement, and the use of AI in the process.

The event saw heavy investment in young professionals' training by Grüter Hans AG, setting a clear sign for the future. Müller also discussed the overdue IV reform, with a deficit of around 10 billion francs, highlighting the progress made in energy policy.

The 'Bundeshaus Aktuell' event in Oberkirch brought together over 80 guests to discuss pressing political issues. Müller and Schilliger, along with Grüter Hans AG's commitment to training young professionals, demonstrated a collective effort towards a pragmatic and skilled future for Switzerland.
