MSPT’s 17th Season Unveils High-Stakes Poker with a $2M Guaranteed Main Event
The Major Series of Poker: The Tour (MSPT) has announced an expanded 17th season with new partnerships and high-stakes events. A key highlight includes a guaranteed seat in the 2026 Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open (RRPO) for every Main Event winner that year. The tournament will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, with a $2 million prize pool guaranteed.
The season will begin with the $1,600 buy-in, $500,000 guaranteed New Year’s Poker Open at the Venetian in Las Vegas. This event sets the stage for a year of major competitions, culminating in the RRPO festival from November 18 to December 2, 2026.
The RRPO has been a staple in South Florida since its launch in November 2013. As one of the four main series hosted by the Seminole Hard Rock, it has grown into a premier poker destination. In 2025, Kevin Nee took home the WPT RRPO Championship title, securing $605,100 in prize money. MSPT President Bryan Mileski highlighted the significance of the new partnership with the Seminole Hard Rock. He described the 2026 RRPO as one of the year’s most anticipated events. The festival will also feature the MSPT Championship, offering 1.5 times the usual Player of the Year points, adding extra weight to the competition.
The 2026 RRPO will feature a $3,500 buy-in and a $2 million guaranteed prize pool. Every MSPT Main Event winner that year will earn a direct seat into the tournament. The collaboration between MSPT and Seminole Hard Rock aims to elevate the event’s prestige and player rewards.
