Mike Leah Dominates Casino Regina with Back-to-Back Poker Titles

Mike Leah has secured two major victories at Casino Regina's Station Poker Classic. The Canadian poker player topped large fields in back-to-back events, boosting his career earnings. His latest wins add to an already impressive record in live and online tournaments. Leah claimed first place in both the $1,000 and $1,300 buy-in events. The $1,000 tournament attracted 212 players, while the $1,300 event drew 270 entries. His combined winnings from these two titles reached $196,705.

This isn't the first time Leah has won multiple events in quick succession. At the 2023 WPT World Championship, he also took down two tournaments within a short span. Beyond these recent successes, he has dominated the Fallsview Poker Classic $1,000 event three times, earning a total of $573,334 from those wins alone. His achievements extend to online play as well. Earlier, Leah won a WSOP Super Circuit event on GGPoker.ca, pocketing $35,974. He also finished second in a $1,800 event at the Station Poker Classic, adding another $64,482 to his total. With seven WSOP Circuit rings, he ranks among the top 50 players in the history of the series. Leah's career live tournament earnings now stand at $9,328,152. His next appearance is expected at the WSOP Circuit series at Playground in Montreal, running from March 23 to April 7.

The Station Poker Classic wins bring Leah's total career earnings closer to the $10 million mark. His consistent performance across live and online events confirms his position as one of Canada's leading poker players. The upcoming WSOP Circuit series in Montreal will be his next opportunity to add to his long list of titles.
