Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has transferred Rs 1,552.38 crore to over 1.27 crore women in Madhya Pradesh. The funds were disbursed on April 16, 2025, as part of the state’s ongoing welfare schemes. The event took place in Tikarwara village, Mandla district, during a public programme attended by beneficiaries and officials.
Each eligible woman received Rs 1,250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana, marking the scheme’s 23rd installment since its launch. The programme, designed to boost economic independence, health, and nutrition for women, has now distributed over Rs 35,000 crore across the state.
The latest disbursement reinforces the government’s commitment to women’s welfare and rural development. With over Rs 35,000 crore distributed so far, the Ladli Behna Yojana remains a key financial support system for millions. Meanwhile, dairy farming subsidies under the Kamdhenu Yojana provide additional economic opportunities for rural communities.
