London is preparing for a busy week of events near me to mark International Women's Day 2026. From art exhibitions to panel discussions, at least 15 major celebrations will take place across the city. The activities aim to highlight female achievements, support charities, and address ongoing inequalities.

The celebrations begin early, with Scott's Richmond hosting a lunch and Q&A on Tuesday 4 March. Olympic athlete Sally Gunnell will speak about motivation and mindset. That same day, Mary Portas will hold a fundraising lunch for The King's Trust at The Barbary in Notting Hill.

The Affordable Art Fair at Battersea Park runs from 4 to 8 March, showcasing work by female artists. Meanwhile, Art on a Postcard's exhibition will feature pieces by women, with proceeds supporting The Hepatitis C Trust.

On 6 March, AllBright's Step Forward Summit brings together entrepreneurial women. Topics include women's health, financial independence, and business leadership. The weekend wraps up with a collaborative lunch at Cavita on Wigmore Street. Five female chefs from around the world will cook for guests, raising funds for Refuge.

Other events include talks at the Royal Albert Hall, a market at Beckenham Place Mansion in Lewisham, and a DJ workshop. Even London, Ontario, has joined in, hosting its own gathering on 3 March.

International Women's Day 2026 falls on Sunday 8 March, with London's schedule packed with exhibitions, discussions, and charity fundraisers. The events provide platforms for female voices while supporting causes like domestic abuse prevention and health research. Organisers expect strong attendance across the capital.
