Linas Bulksas dominates Day 1d with a 125K chip lead in Euro Main Event

Day 1d of the €1,100 poker.pro Euro Main Event is currently underway. Lithuanian player Linas Bulksas has built a commanding lead with a stack of 125,000—more than double the average for the day's field. His latest victory came at the expense of Roman Jezov, who was knocked out in a high-stakes showdown.

The decisive hand began with Bulksas opening to 1,900 from the Hi-jack position. Jezov, on the Button, raised to 3,800, prompting Bulksas to four-bet to 9,200. Jezov called, setting up a pre-flop clash.

The flop came Q♥4♣10♣, and Bulksas continued with a 6,000 bet. Jezov responded by going all-in for 20,000, which Bulksas quickly called. The players revealed their hands: Bulksas held A♦A♣, while Jezov showed J♦J♣.

The turn and river—9♥ and 10♥—secured the pot for Bulksas, as his pocket aces held against Jezov's jacks. The elimination pushed Bulksas' stack to 125,000, cementing his position as one of the chip leaders in the tournament.

Jezov's exit leaves Bulksas with a significant advantage heading deeper into Day 1d. The Lithuanian's aggressive play and strong hand selection have paid off, giving him a dominant stack as the event progresses. The tournament continues with Bulksas firmly in contention for a top finish.
