Krasnodar Krai transforms rural life with 76 state-funded upgrades in 2025

Krasnodar Krai completed 76 rural development news projects in 2025 under a state-funded programme. The initiatives aimed to modernise social facilities, improve public spaces, and upgrade essential infrastructure. Over 406 million rubles from federal and regional budgets supported these efforts.

The 'Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas' programme focused on small villages, hamlets, and Cossack settlements. In Vyselkovsky District, officials repaired a building housing a children’s clinic and an outpatient oncology centre. They also purchased 27 new medical devices, including a CT scanner and two ultrasound machines.

In Korensovsky District, a cultural centre received modern equipment, while a sports complex underwent renovations. Water supply networks were also upgraded to improve reliability. Beyond these upgrades, municipalities installed new children’s playgrounds, revitalised public spaces, and constructed sidewalks.

The programme’s funding covered construction, modernisation of social facilities, and improvements to utility infrastructure. With over 40% of Krasnodar Krai’s population living in rural areas, these projects addressed long-standing needs in underserved communities.

The completed projects delivered tangible improvements across Krasnodar Krai’s rural regions. New medical equipment, renovated public buildings, and upgraded utilities now serve local residents. The 406 million rubles invested have directly enhanced daily life in dozens of villages and settlements.
