Koray Aldemir wins second WSOP gold bracelet in $10K 8-Game Mix

Koray Aldemir has claimed his second World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet after winning Event #12: the $10,000 8-Game Mix 6-Handed. The 2021 WSOP Main Event champion secured the title by defeating Felipe Ramos in a heads-up showdown. His victory marks a rare achievement for a former Las Vegas Main Event winner.

The final table saw eight players competing for the prize, with Aldemir ultimately outlasting the field. He took home $287,800 for his first-place finish. Felipe Ramos, who finished in second, earned $188,900.

Philip Sternheimer rounded out the top three, winning $128,400. Chris Klodnicki came in fourth, collecting $90,100, while Mike Watson finished fifth for $65,400. Dan Shak and Josh Arieh took sixth and seventh places, winning $49,200 and $38,400 respectively.

Aldemir’s win makes him the first former Las Vegas Main Event champion to secure a bracelet since Phil Hellmuth in 2023. The victory further cements his reputation as one of the game’s top competitors.

Aldemir’s triumph adds another gold bracelet to his collection, following his 2021 Main Event win. The $287,800 prize reinforces his standing among poker’s elite. Meanwhile, Felipe Ramos and the other finalists also took home significant earnings from the high-stakes event.
