Juha Helppi claims €168K and the Diamond Poker Series trophy in Prague

Juha Helppi has won the PLO Grand Slam Prague Championship, taking home €168,400 and the Diamond Poker Series trophy. The Finnish player overcame tough competition at the €10,400 event, securing victory after a gruelling six days of play. The tournament reached its climax with Helppi among the final three players, alongside Aki Vihikainen and Alexander Petersen. Before the final hands were dealt, the trio agreed to an ICM deal, redistributing the prize pool. Despite being the shortest stack at that stage, Helppi emerged as the eventual champion after three decisive blind flips. Helppi’s victory marks the end of a demanding but successful run in Prague. He leaves with €168,400, the Diamond Poker Series trophy, and a reputation for clutch performances under pressure. The deal ensured all finalists secured substantial earnings, with Vihikainen taking the highest share.
