Johnson Kitete-Kikumba Eliminated in 14th Place (£1,560)

The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Main Event saw a dramatic elimination at Genting Casino, Stratford. Johnson Kitete-Kikumba exited in 14th place after a key hand against Andre Leal on the final day, December 21. His finish earned him £1,560 in prize money.

Both players had reached the last stage of the tournament, with Kitete-Kikumba and Leal among the final contenders. In the decisive hand, Kitete-Kikumba was dealt A♦3♣, while Leal held A♥K♣. The flop, turn, and river ran out as 8♣6♠2♣Q♦6♣, leaving Kitete-Kikumba with no improvement.

After the showdown, Leal’s chip stack climbed to 2,000,000. Kitete-Kikumba, left with no chips, was knocked out of the competition.

The elimination marked the end of Kitete-Kikumba’s run in the tournament. Leal, meanwhile, advanced with a stronger position in the remaining field. The event continues with fewer players now vying for the top prize.
